Notice of Intent Geotechnical Construction Administration and Construction Field Review Services for the Clinical Support and Research Centre Project. Document Number: 008NOI24EZProvidence Health Care (PHC), the “Owner,” intends to negotiate a contract with Edge GeoEngineering Ltd. for continued geotechnical consulting services for the Clinical Support & Research Centre (CSRC) Project.The maximum value of this contract for these services, including construction administration and field reviews, will be $335,300 plus tax. The Owner has chosen not to complete a Request for Proposal (RFP) process for this phase of work for the following reasons:  
Edge GeoEngineering Ltd. possesses a pre-existing detailed understanding of the current subsurface site conditions having previously completed numerous geotechnical scopes of work at the subject property at 1002 Station Street and 250 and 310 Prior Street, Vancouver. This work includes detailed site investigations, schematic design, detailed design, and tender and permit preparation services in support of construction activities at the site. In particular, Edge GeoEngineering Ltd. completed geotechnical design and consulting services for the design phase of the CSRC project. The Owner can realize greater efficiencies as Edge GeoEngineering Ltd. are registered as the current Engineers of Record (EoR) for the project. The approach mitigates the schedule risk to achieve commencement of Secant Wall construction activities by January 2025.
