Description

New construction of the central lake access Radolfzell on Lake Constance, represented by the Lord Mayor Mr Martin Staab Geotechnik Anlage 1 (1.3.3 HOAI) if necessary partial services a,b,c For years, the city of Radolfzell has pursued the goal of reorganising the old town environment, strengthening the relationship to the lake and the lakeside facilities and thus ensuring the centre of the city a lasting viability. This happened in the recent past by the conversion of the Schiesser area and is to be continued now in the south by a new and attractive crossing of the railway line in the station area and a station modernization connected with it. In the course of the station redesign in the 60s, an underpass was already built, but it is relatively narrow and appears dark. A further complication is that from the city side, one first has to go up to the platform level in order to dive into the underpass. The lake itself can only be seen after overcoming another staircase. The "crossing" is in no way appropriate to the modern needs of a tourist city. For this reason, the planning prerequisites for a new sea port crossing have been created over the past 10 years. In a direct connection between the town hall, Seetor and Mole, a direct, fast and generous connection between the old town and the lake is to be achieved via a trough construction. Orientated on the conditions of the historical situation at the station, the tracks, which today have a strong separating effect, are overcome as naturally as possible. The trough structure designed for this purpose leads directly from the Seetorplatz to the lake. The design takes into account that the historic city centre as a whole is listed as a historical monument and that there is a coordinated framework planning on the lakeside of the railway line, which was included in the planning. In addition to functionality, a landscape-related added value is also created. The design of the outdoor facilities and their accessibility and perceptibility are of great importance and a mediating function between path and stay. Results up to LP2 are provided.
