Germany - General planning service for the relocation of the railroad crossing at Hessenweg in 46485 Wesel, Germany

Description

The Hanseatic City of Wesel am Rhein is planning to relocate an existing level crossing on a single-track railroad line. The measure is connected with the reorganization of traffic in the immediate vicinity of the level crossing. The road construction measures will be defined in two development plans.
In order to implement the roadside measures, the level crossing has to be relocated by approx. 69 m to the south. The project sponsor is the city of Wesel.
The object of the present invitation to tender is the object planning for
- technical installations for signalling systems (LST), telecommunications systems (TK) and electrical installations (50Hz) as well as
- traffic installations (road, cycle paths and cable routing systems).
The following measures are necessary and subject to planning for the construction of a level, technically secured level crossing in a new location:
- Land acquisition
- Preparation of the land, pruning, clearing of the construction site, deconstruction
- Adjustment of the superstructure incl. cable routing systems for all trades, adjustment and supplementary work on DB AG installations for the line
- Adaptation of the signaling systems (control and safety technology) and the operations control system, adaptation and supplementary work on DB AG equipment, technical safety measures for the new level crossing and the adjacent existing level crossings in connection with the new level crossing, including telecommunications equipment (TC) and electrical equipment (50 Hz)
- Adaptation and construction of the traffic facilities road and paths incl. changes to traffic routes (up to 65 m out from the track axis on both sides of the railroad body) at the new level crossing
- Deconstruction and adaptation of the existing path crossing over the railroad line at the old crossing point
- Creation or modification of drainage systems for roads, paths, squares, for the track facilities and the level crossing and connection to the higher-level planning "road".
A planning approval procedure in accordance with Section 18 of the General Railway Act (AEG) is required and must be prepared by the contractor.
