Description

Fuel Management Treatment Unit LMP 1OPERATIONAL FUEL MANAGEMENT ACTIVITIESThe successful proponent will be required to follow the specifications as laid out in the attached Fuel Management Prescription Documents and Schedule A - Services. The following activities will be required as detailed within these documents: Danger tree assessment and falling by qualified personnel Spacing of conifer understory Pruning Piling, and Debris chipping / removal offsite, and/or open burning. The management of debris may be performed by hand crews and/or by small excavator/machine. The successful proponent will be expected to meet the measurable objectives provided within the prescription documents under the guidance of the site supervisor.This work is wholly funded by the 2023 CRI Grant, and as such, is limited to the Grant funding allowable cost/Ha.Note this prescription is pending UBCM and BCWS approval and the contract will not be awarded until the approval process is complete.
