Description

The Gymnasium Scheinfeld is centrally located in Scheinfeld. The school consists of several buildings of different years of construction, from 1937 to 2007. The buildings to be demolished are mainly two-storey buildings, some with basements. The plan is to completely demolish all buildings except the canteen in 2007/08 and to replace them with 4 structurally connected new buildings (components A, B, C and D). This will take place in 3 construction phases with the beginning of 2018 and planned completion in 2023. 1993, which is not part of the project, the sports hall is also located on the property. On a further property north of the school grounds is the former caretaker's house, which will be demolished during the construction phase after a provisional use and the area will be used for the construction of new parking spaces. The main entrance of the grammar school is currently located on Landwehrstraße, between the so-called Zwischenbau and the Goethebau. The planning of the new building envisages the new main entrance at the corner of Landwehrstraße and Goethestraße. This will be the new hub of the school building. From there, the school streets (school corridors, approx. 2.50 m wide) extend at right angles to the north towards the cafeteria building and to the west. In the north, the elongated part A on the ground floor houses the school assembly hall, the music rooms, the access to the cafeteria and other ancillary rooms. The upper floor houses the administration with library, teachers' room, silentium room and 3 classrooms. Part A has a cellar in part, here are the common rooms of the upper school and storage rooms. Building parts B and C adjoining to the west exclusively house classrooms. Building section D forms the spatial conclusion of the grammar school to the west. All subject rooms are accommodated in this part. The ground floor accommodates the chemistry and biology departments, the upper floor physics and art. The basement of building section D is completely covered by a cellar; here are the computer rooms and alternative rooms as well as the technical rooms with the house connections. The project is divided into 3 construction phases. In the first construction phase, the building section D with the new house connections and technical rooms will be constructed. In the second construction phase the class houses building components C and B with 2 connecting passages to building component D will be constructed. In the third construction phase the third connecting corridor and building component A will be constructed. The demolition will be carried out successively to the new building.
