The contracting authority is Salten Brann IKS, which is an inter-municipal fire and rescue company. Salten Brann is owned by Beiarn, Bodø, Fauske, Gildeskål, Hamarøy, Meløy, Saltdal, Steigen, Sørfold, and Værøy Municipalities.The company has more than 350 employees, of which most are part time positions. The region has more than 80,000 inhabitants spread over a large geographical area. The company is also responsible for the 110 emergency message service for 41 municipalities in Nordland and South Troms, equivalent to a population of 271, 000 inhabitants. The company's main office is in Bodø.Salten Brann IKS, hereafter called the contracting authority, invites tenderers to a negotiated procedure for a framework agreement for the procurement of vehicles and equipment for Salten Brann IKS.
