This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the City of Barrie (the “City”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the Design, Supply, Delivery and Installation of East Bayfield Park Playground Equipment. The City will only accept bids for this RFP from the prequalified suppliers identified on the prequalified suppliers list from FIN2022-050SQ Annual Playground Revitalization, Category A Standard Playground Equipment:Openspace Solutions Inc.Park N Water LTD.New World Park Solutions Inc.Park N Play Design Co Ltd.S.F. Scott Mfg. Co. Ltd. O/A Blue Imp MedicineABC Recreation Ltd.PlayPower LT Canada Inc.The purpose of this RFP is to secure the provision of the design, supply, delivery and installation of playground equipment for East Bayfield Community Park. The total cost of the design, supply, delivery and installation shall be carried as an allowance as part of the overall park construction tender process (FIN2024-128T) for the general contractor. The selected proponent will be required to be carried as a subcontractor under FIN2024-128T and enter into Attachment 3 tripartite Novation Agreement with the City and the successful respondent to FIN2024-128T.   * Electronic Submissions Only.
