This is a Sources Sought Notice only. This is NOT a Request for Proposal, Request for Quote or Invitation for Bid. DLA Troop Support is conducting market research seeking to identify possible sources that can supply NSN 4140-01-447-2268 Fan, Vaneaxial.  Interested contractors are requested to review the below description carefully to identify any potential manufacturing challenges and formulate any questions.  The intent of this sources sought notice is to gather information that will identify sources for the possibility of a solicitation for the referenced item under a long-term requirements contract.

NSN 4140-01-447-2268 Fan, Vaneaxial is currently manufactured by Lytron Incorporated (11245) Part Number 506027.  This NSN is used on the Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC).

Interested parties should provide written responses by close of business on Saturday May 12, 2019 by 4:00 PM EST to: Philip Ferrara, DLA Troop Support Construction & Equipment, at Philip.Ferrara@dla.mil.  This Sources Sought Notice is issued for the purpose of market research only and the Government is in no way obligated to purchase any material as a result of this inquiry. The Government will NOT pay for any information submitted by respondents in response to this Sources Sought Notice. If a solicitation would result, it would be synopsized on the FedBizOpps website and it would be the offeror's responsibility to monitor the FedBizOpps website for any such notices.
