POI¦.02.04.00-00-0108/16 "Protection of habitats and species of non-forest land dependent on water", implemented under Axis II, Measure 2.4 of the Operational Programme Infrastructure and Environment 2014-2020. The data collected in the course of the as-built monitoring will provide the basis for determining the effects of active protection measures taken under the project by comparing the condition of the habitat before and after the implementation of the measures to determine their effectiveness.2: 7140, i.e. transition bogs and moors, located at two stands, i.e. a) stand no. 1 - plot no. 555, Wisłok Wielki district, Rymanów Forest Inspectorate, division 350; b) stand no. 2 - plot no. 41, Rudawka Jaśliska district, Rymanów Forest Inspectorate, division 81.5.1 The subject matter of the contract shall include in particular: a) familiarization of the Economic Operator with the area covered by the contract, which should take place immediately before the as-built monitoring field work, including- conducting the query of available literature materials, which will enable preliminary identification and characterization of the research area, - conducting the preliminary field inspection of the area for the execution of the subject of the contract, which will be carried out at the expense of the Contractor; b) chartering of the habitat patches of transition fens and moors (mostly with vegetation from Scheuchzerio-Caricetea) (code: 7140); c) within each charted patch of transition fens and moors (mostly with vegetation from Scheuchzerio-Caricetea) (code: 7140): 7140), determination of a 200 m long transect and taking 3 phytosociological photos (if the area of the habitat patch does not allow to determine such a long transect, 1 or 2 phytosociological photos should be taken, depending on the possibilities; d) on the basis of the phytosociological photos taken and analysis of other indicators, assessment of the conservation status of each of the scanned patches of the habitat should be carried out, and the following questions should be answered: - within the patches indicated in the study as patches of habitat No. 9 and 10, an increase in the population of species characteristic for the habitat code was recorded: 7140 and did the cover and species structure of mosses within these patches change? - Within the patches indicated in the study as positions 9 and 10, did the share of invasive alien species, species of expansive herbaceous plants and the expansion of shrubs and tree undergrowth decrease in relation to the values of these indicators indicated in the study? - Did the protective measures carried out in the form of felling and mowing with complete removal of biomass contribute to improving the conservation status of the examined habitat patches? If yes, how? - have the active protection measures contributed to the improvement of the overall assessment of the above mentioned habitat patches on the tested sites? - have the active protection measures consisting in the removal of trees and shrubs contributed to the change of habitat parameters/indicators on the tested patches, including in particular cardinal indicators?
