PROJECT SUMMARY DESCRIPTION
In order to bring the endoscopy department at Anna-Laberge Hospital up to standard, an extension will be required.
3. MAIN PROJECT CONSTRAINTS
The project is subject to various constraints, including but not limited to the following:

Property boundaries
Municipal bylaws (including stormwater management)
Completion deadlines
Construction costs
Access and traffic modifications



4. SCOPE OF WORK
The mandate includes, but is not limited to,

Participation in meetings with various stakeholders to identify needs;
Supporting the client in the steps required of the municipality;
The meetings, documents and presentation(s) required for the city's approval of the project at the Conseil Consultatif d'Urbanisme (CCU);
Support for the client in the required steps with the MSSS;
Preparation of required documents and presentation(s) to the MSSS;
Preparation of a projected schedule and its revision during the course of the project;
General project coordination with the various stakeholders and professionals involved;
Implementation study;
Study of existing infrastructures and required modifications;
Pre-purchase plans and specifications, as required;
Drawing up plans and specifications for each stage of the project;
Production of as-built plans;
Preparation of preliminary cost estimates;
Preparation of work cost estimates;
Preparation and presentation of tender documents and specifications;
Site visits with bidders;
Issuance of addenda, analysis of bids and appropriate recommendations;
Preparation of details not provided for in the plans and specifications and required for construction purposes;
Preparation and negotiation of change orders;
Technical advice to the owner, with or without a site visit;
Verification of shop drawings;
Verification of material equivalence;
Periodic site visits to ensure completion of work;
Recommendations to the owner on the progress of the work;
Drafting of site meeting minutes;
Verification of payment requests;
Issuance of certificates recommending progress and final payments;
Final inspection and list of deficiencies observed;
Written recommendation to the owner for provisional and final acceptance of work;

It is important to specify that these descriptive lists of the scope of work are not exhaustive. The selected firm must be able to provide the necessary manpower to carry out the contract, and possess the technical, administrative and planning skills.
