Description

The number of electric cars continues to grow rapidly. With that, the demand for public charging solutions rises along with it. The electric car market is becoming more mature and with it, the design requirements of the charging network are changing. Where the focus used to be on developing a comprehensive charging network within acceptable walking distances for all residents, the focus is now shifting to densification; sufficient charging infrastructure for all electric drivers. This tender covers the acquisition, management, hosting, operation and maintenance of all existing AC charging stations (approx. 2,500), as well as the provision, installation, management, hosting, operation and maintenance of new AC charging infrastructure to be installed. The municipality expects to install approximately 400 new charging stations annually. The activities will be tendered as one lot, with a duration of 4 years (and 2x an optional extension of 1 year). The municipality of The Hague uses the assignment model.
