Description

The government wants to procure 383 units of 18 meter Bus Electric Powertrain as part of a High Priority Bus System (HPBS) project in southern Philippines.

You must deliver the buses in 4 tranches, 9 to 12 months from the contract signing. The buses have an expected service life of 12 years or 800,000km. Bus batteries must have warranty lasting through the vehicle's lifespan.

You must also supply:

- 1 tow truck vehicle
- 2 depot tow tractor vehicles
- a minimum of service vehicles
- a full spare parts package
- tools and diagnostics equipment.

You must supply and install:

- 28 units of 300 Kilowatt (kW) opportunity chargers
- 189 units of 150kW depot chargers and temporary facility chargers.

The contract includes 5 years of operations and maintenance of vehicles and systems, including bus registration and licensing.

You must also provide training programmes for drivers and maintenance staff.

Bidders are qualified on basis of contractual and technical experience, production capacity, and financial situation. This contract is financed by the Asian Development Bank (ADB). This contract is subject to open competitive bidding following ADB rules.

The pre-bid conference will at 10am Manila time on 8 April 2022.

The deadline for submission of bids and opening of bids is at 10am Manila time on 12 May 2022.

Manila is 8 hours ahead of BST.
