The Centre de services scolaire des Monts-et-Marées wishes to obtain sealed bids from a contractor for interior finishing work (Phase 2) at École St-Noël, located at 25 rue de l'Église, St-Noël, Quebec.
DOCUMENTATION AVAILABLE :
As of April 18, 2024 , tender documents will be available to any person or company only through the SÉAO electronic tendering system ( www.seao.ca or 1-866-669-7326) .
TENDER GUARANTEE :
All bids must be accompanied by a bid security representing ten percent ( 1 0%) of the total amount of the bid excluding all applicable taxes, in the form of an irrevocable letter of guarantee or a bid bond issued by a financial institution that is an insurer holding a licence issued in accordance with the Insurance Act ( R LRQ, c. A-32 -1 ) authorizing it to practice surety insurance, a trust company licensed under the Act respecting trust companies and savings companies ( R LRQ, c. S-29.01), a financial services cooperative governed by the Act respecting financial services cooperatives ( R LRQ, c. C-67.3) or a bank within the meaning of the Bank Act (L.C., 1991, c. 46), failing which the bid will be automatically rejected.
SITE VISIT (Not mandatory, but strongly recommended):
A non-mandatory site visit is scheduled for April 24, 2024 at 15:0 0 . The meeting point for this visit is 25 rue de l'Église, in the town of St-Noël, province of Québec, G0J 3A0.
RECEIPT AND OPENING :
All bids must be received at the Centre de services scolaires des Monts-et-Marées place of business at 93, avenue du Parc - entrance 3, Amqui (Québec) G5J 2L8 , on May 16, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. . The public organization's offices are open Monday to Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. for the receipt of bids. Any bid received after these hours will be automatically rejected. Bids may be submitted electronically. T he Tenders shall be publicly opened, in the presence of a witness, at the link indicated in clause 1.07.10 immediately after the deadline time and date set for the receipt of Tenders.
INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT :
This public tender is subject to the following intergovernmental agreements: Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA) and Agreement on Trade and Cooperation between Quebec and Ontario ( ACCQO ) .
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Only contractors holding, where applicable, the license required under the Building Act (R.L.R.Q., c. B-1.1) will be considered for the contract. Tenderers are responsible for selecting subcontractors, both in terms of their solvency and the content of their tender.
T he Centre de services scolaires does not undertake to accept any of the tenders received.
In accordance with section 21.0.4 of the Act respecting contracting by public bodies, a complaints procedure is available for tendering contractors.
