The Centre de services scolaire des Monts-et-Marées wishes to obtain sealed bids from a contractor for the renovation of the boiler room at the St-Léon school, located at 241, rue Gendron, Saint-Léon, province of Quebec.

Documentation available :

As of March 21, 2024 , any person or company may obtain tender documents only through the SÉAO electronic tendering system ( www.seao.ca or 1-866-669-7326) .

TENDER GUARANTEE :

All bids must be accompanied by a bid security representing ten percent ( 1 0%) of the total amount of the bid excluding all applicable taxes, in the form of an irrevocable letter of guarantee or a bid bond issued by a financial institution that is an insurer holding a licence issued in accordance with the Insurers Act ( R LRQ, c. A-32 -1 ) authorizing it to practice surety insurance, a trust company licensed under the Act respecting trust companies and savings companies ( R LRQ, c. S-29.01), a financial services cooperative governed by the Act respecting financial services cooperatives ( R LRQ, c. C-67.3) or a bank within the meaning of the Bank Act (L.C., 1991, c. 46), failing which the bid will be automatically rejected.

SITE VISIT (Not mandatory) :

A non-mandatory site visit is scheduled for March 28, 2024 at 1 5 :30 . The meeting point for this visit is 241 rue Gendron , door 5, in the town of St-Léon , province of Québec, G 0J 2W0 .

Reception and opening :

All bids must be received at the Centre de services scolaires des Monts-et-Marées place d'affaires, 93 Avenue du Parc - entrée 3, Amqui (Québec) G5J 2L8 , no later than 2:00 p.m. on April 25, 2024. The public organization's office hours for receiving bids are Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.. Any bid received after these hours will be automatically rejected. Bids may be submitted electronically. Tenders will be publicly opened, in the presence of a witness, at the link indicated in clause 1.07.10 immediately after the time and date set for receipt of tenders.

Intergovernmental Agreement :

This public tender is subject to the following intergovernmental agreements: Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA) and Quebec-Ontario Trade and Cooperation Agreement (QOCTA).

Other requirements :

Only contractors holding, where applicable, the license required under the Building Act (R.S.Q., c. B-1.1) will be considered for the contract. Tenderers are responsible for the choice of subcontractors, both in terms of their solvency and the content of their tender.

T he School Service Centre does not undertake to accept any of the tenders received.

In accordance with article 21.0.3 of the Act respecting contracting by public bodies, a complaint handling procedure is available for tendering contractors.
