So-called "small-scale construction measures" are to be planned and carried out for the Fraunhofer institutes and facilities grouped together in the 08.02 region. The existing buildings are usually special buildings and are used as research facilities, laboratory buildings and office buildings. The buildings are of different ages. In the course of the orientation towards new research objectives, new construction, extension, conversion and modernization measures are constantly required for the buildings. The majority of the so-called small-scale construction measures, which are subject to funding law and may not exceed the cost ceiling (currently EUR 1.0 million), will be carried out in the existing buildings and in operation.8 For the planning and implementation of small-scale construction measures in the 08.02 region, we are looking for competent architectural firms that are familiar with building in the existing buildings and experienced in dealing with high-tech buildings with clean rooms, laboratories, testing laboratories, test stands and measuring and test rooms.
