This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by The Corporation of the City of Vernon (the “City”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for: General contracting and construction services for the Okanagan Landing Sewer 2024 Directional Drilling. A summary of the specific work items includes the following (summary of approx. quantities):612m of Sanitary Sewer Gravity Main HDPE by Horizontal Directional Drill, 200mm DR17; 290m pilot drill at <1.5% in preparation of potential sanitary sewer installation, after confirmation of adequate grades in pilot drill; Another 290m of Sanitary Sewer Gravity Main HDPE by Horizontal Directional Drill, 200mm DR17 (Optional Works); One (1) Sanitary Sewer tie-ins including excavation, backfill and restoration (not including paving works); CCTV Inspection of sewer mains; Import backfilling and locates (Optional Works); 30m of Sanitary Sewer Gravity Main HDPE by Horizontal Directional Drill, through rock, 200mm DR17 (Optional Works.)
