Description
The Digital Node Stuttgart (DKS) is a pilot project in the Digital Rail Germany (DSD) starter package. The aim of the DSD programme is to modernize control and safety technology (LST) throughout Germany. The DSD covers the equipment of the Stuttgart and Plochingen network districts with around 500 kilometers of track. For the first time in Germany, a large railroad junction is being equipped with digital interlockings (DSTW) and the European Train Control System (ETCS) Level 2. This lays the foundation for the gradual introduction of further systems such as the highly automated driving system Automatic Train Operation 2? (ATO GoA 2), the Future Railway Mobile Communication System (FRMCS) and the Capacity Control System (CCS). (FRMCS) and the Capacity & Traffic Management System (CTMS). (CTMS). The DKS project is divided into three spatial-functional modules, whereby only module 3 is the subject of this award procedure. Module 1: Equipping the S-Bahn main line and adjacent areas with ETCS L2 without signals (L2oS) and ATO GoA 2, including vehicle equipment. In some sections, ETCS L2 with signals (L2mS) will be used temporarily. Module 2: Building on the Stuttgart 21 project, the Stuttgart core node will be equipped with DSTW, ETCS L2oS and ATO GoA 2, also including the vehicle equipment for regional traffic. ETCS L2mS will be used temporarily in certain areas. Module 3: Equipping the remaining network districts of Stuttgart and Plochingen with DSTW, ETCS L2oS and ATO GoA 2, including the gradual introduction of FRMCS and CTMS in the entire project area. In addition, the areas of modules 1 and 2 equipped with ETCS L2mS will be upgraded to ETCS L2oS. The project demonstrates the possibilities and limits of 'digital' performance optimization. performance optimization and the impact of closely coordinated vehicle and infrastructure equipment. With clear and ambitious project objectives, DKS represents a unique opportunity for the country and the region. It offers all project participants the opportunity to gain extensive experience in the introduction of digital control and safety technology (DLST). Components of the project are the planning and realization of the Digital Node Stuttgart, module 3 up to the complete commissioning. Description of the procurement: VP 1 ? General planner, VP 2 ? Digital control and safety technology (DLST), VP 3 ? Structural engineering, technical building equipment (TGA), telecommunications (TK), VP 4 ? Civil engineering, structural engineering (KIB), VP 5 ? Overhead line systems (OLA), 50 Hz.
