This call for tenders is targeted as part of a pilot project to test various measures to facilitate payment to companies involved in public construction contracts as determined by the Conseil du trésor and related public subcontracts.
In order to respect the spirit of the pilot project, the Public Body reserves the right to require bidders to set up an electronic invoice payment system before the final award of the contract.

The Centre intégré de santé et de services sociaux des Laurentides (CISSS des Laurentides) wishes to solicit contracts to award a construction contract as part of the project:
Development of the intensive care unit at Saint-Jérôme Hospital Lot 2
The construction site is located at 290 de Montigny Street, St-Jérôme, Quebec. J7Z 5T3.
At the time of bid submission, a bid security in the form of a guarantee of 10% of the proposed price is required, in accordance with the terms and conditions described in the tender documents.
The Bidder must attach to its Bid a letter of commitment signed by a guarantor guaranteeing the issuance of a performance bond and a guarantee of the ENTREPRENEUR's obligations for pledges, materials and services in accordance with the requirements set out in Part 4.00 of the Contract. To do so, it must use the model commitment letter reproduced in Appendix 4.02 of the Submission Form.
ALL TENDER DOCUMENTS HAVE BEEN POSTED ON AND THE BIDDER MUST ACQUIRE THEM ON THIS SITE.
Mandatory information session for filing a bid.
The information session is scheduled for October 8, 2019 at 10 a.m.
The gathering place is at the main entrance to the site where the work is being done.

Wearing a helmet and safety boots is mandatory;
Photography is not allowed due to the presence of users on site.

On this occasion, information will be provided, in particular, to remind certain particularities regarding the requirements of the Call for Tenders and to answer the Bidders' questions on any aspect of the Call for Tenders.
If additional information or clarification is required, it will be the subject of an Addendum.
Attendance sheet
In order to prove compliance with this mandatory visit requirement, the representative of the SUBMISSIONER must ensure that he/she signs the attendance sheet provided for this purpose by the PUBLIC ORGANIZATION.
Questions and Answers
It is mandatory that all questions be in writing. The only person to whom these questions are addressed to the file manager, Renée Gallant.
Deadline and place of submission of bids
The revised deadline for submission of bids is currently November 01, 2019, at 10 a.m. This date may be subject to additional change via a regular addendum and not via an addendum of the change type of the notice description.

The deadline and place of submission of bids is mandatory, the public opening of bids will take place immediately thereafter.
Electronic submission of tenders is permitted, in accordance with the terms and conditions set out in the tender documents.
The obtaining and cost of the building permit is the responsibility of the successful bidder.
The price schedule is provided as an annex to the tender documents.
The Centre intégré de santé et de services sociaux des Laurentides (CISSS des Laurentides) does not undertake to accept, at the lowest price, any of the bids or to carry out in whole or in part the subject of the call for tenders.
