REQUEST FOR PROPOSALSSCOPE OF SERVICESThe City of Surrey (the “City”) is seeking qualified design Consultants and their multidisciplinary teams to lead and provide comprehensive design, consultation services, construction administration, hand over and post construction close out for an Indigenous Cultural Centre located in Royal Kwantlen Park, 13035 104 Ave, Surrey, BC, V3T 1VT8 (the “ICC”).The Consultant will be responsible for:1. Schematic design in consultation with the City, Kwantlen, Katzie and Semiahmoo First Nations, and Urban Indigenous residents;2. Design development;3. Construction document development for City procurement preparation;4. Construction and contract administration;5. Hand over and post construction close out services; and6. One-year warranty review.The City anticipates that at a minimum, the Consultant will need to provide the professional disciplines listed below to complete design services for the scope of the ICC:1. Architectural;2. Structural;3. Mechanical;4. Electrical;5. Landscape;6. Civil; (design to include a stormwater control plan to assess the ICC’s impact on the existing drainage system, Parking load assessment); and7. Cost Consultant.AddendaIf the City determines that an amendment is required to this RFP, the City Representative will issue a written addendum by posting it on the BC Bid Website at www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca and the City Website at www.surrey.ca (collectively, the “Websites”), and upon posting, any addenda will form part of this RFP. It is the responsibility of Proponents to check the Websites for addenda. The only way this RFP may be added to, or amended in any way, is by a formal written addendum. No other communication, whether written or oral, from any person will affect or modify the terms of this RFP or may be relied upon by any Proponent.
