Description

SBH | Schulbau Hamburg, as a state-owned enterprise of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg (hereinafter referred to as SBH), has the task of planning, building, maintaining and managing school properties in accordance with economic principles, taking into account school requirements, and of leasing the more than 400 schools to the Ministry of Schools and Vocational Training (BSB).

The demolition of the former HCU laboratories/workshops and seminar rooms is necessary for the construction of a new 3-field hall. Before demolition, extensive remediation work will be carried out.

The former teaching and experimental building C on the school campus at Hebebrandstraße 1 in Hamburg Nord is to be completely dismantled and the resulting building materials disposed of.
There is documented contamination from solid and weakly bound asbestos, sprayed asbestos, PCBs and old mineral wool, which requires extensive work to be carried out by hand or with small equipment.
The building has a maximum total height of 12 m with a BRI of approx. 28,000 m³.
The service ends with the handover of the cleared area as an unbuilt excavation pit.
