Description
Sourcing services and fulfillment services of non-cash rewards as well as the establishment and operation of a webshop for the rewards assortment (incl. non-service provider rewards) of BahnBonus, DB's customer loyalty program.
DB Fernverkehr AG intends to award the tender and fulfillment services for the premium assortment of Deutsche Bahn AG's customer loyalty program (BahnBonus). The BahnBonus program is aimed in particular at travelers in Germany as well as in neighboring countries. The operator of the BahnBonus program is DB Fernverkehr AG, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Deutsche Bahn AG.The award by DB Fernverkehr AG (hereinafter referred to as the "Client") is made with the aim of commissioning a service provider (hereinafter referred to as the "Contractor") with the overall processing of selected rewards (goods and services) (hereinafter referred to as the "Articles"), including the involvement of external partners as specified by the Client, with all consulting, fulfillment and monitoring services.The scope of the contract shall include the development of offers and the provision of articles relevant to the target group, depending on the briefing by the Principal, including consulting, sourcing, data preparation according to specifications, warehousing and ensuring product availability, as well as all associated fulfillment services, including shipping, customer communication (e.g., delivery notes, returns, etc.). All employees of the applicant or their subcontractors who will later be responsible for the DB Fernverkehr AG account must prove that they have two or more years of professional experience in the support of bonus programs and are proficient in written and spoken German at least at B2 level (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)). The contractor shall provide at least two professional contact persons who shall be available for the client in a constant exchange.The product range shall be updated regularly. Invoicing shall take place monthly on the basis of the articles purchased and fulfillment services. The client does not commit to any minimum purchase quantities. Pre-financing by the Contractor is required for costs due to the purchase of goods and fulfillment.In addition, the Contractor must set up a web store for the assortment and ensure the associated operation as well as the possibility of additional payment (business model) by the customer for premium orders. In addition to the contractor's rewards, the webshop must be able to display and, if necessary, send other rewards (such as rail rewards, donation rewards, partner rewards) that are the responsibility of the customer.The rewards program stands out with its high ecological sustainability standards and thus clearly distinguishes itself as a green rewards program. The client's goal is to offer an exclusively ecologically sustainable premium assortment. In the long term, this includes not only the sustainable rewards portfolio mentioned above, but also the packaging and shipping of the rewards. In this context, DB Fernverkehr AG attaches great importance to not compromising on topicality and quality. The rewards store is characterized by the unique composition of the rewards portfolio. Across the board, the rewards portfolio must be attractive and innovative in design and contain high-quality products that are relevant to the target group. Overall, the rewards must offer the customer a benefit and added value while rewarding him for traveling with Deutsche Bahn.
