Description

The subject matter of the contract is the provision of courier and storage services for the needs of the General Inspectorate of Road Transport (GITD), including in particular the operation of the Electronic Toll Collection System (ESPO). The subject matter of the contract consists of two (2) tasks: 1.1. Task 1 - Basic Contract: Provision of courier services for the needs of GITD, including in particular the operation of the Electronic Toll Collection System.Courier services provided in Poland and abroad, including collection, transport and delivery, including insurance, of courier shipments containing: a) on-board equipment (OBU); b) information and marketing materials regarding the use of the viaTOLL system; c) consumables for the viaTOLL distribution network (toners, paper for printers, etc.); d) documentation of the viaTOLL system users; e) documentation and correspondence of GITD offices and delegations; f) neutral goods: The basic order also provides for the use of an increased number of domestic courier services including collection, transport and delivery, as well as additional insurance of shipments for the needs of on-board equipment distribution (OBU) to the users of the Electronic Toll Collection System implemented at the stage of the planned implementation of the New KSPO (NKSPO).1.2. Task 2 - Optional Right: The provision of storage services for OBU on-board equipment, marketing and exploitation materials used for the operation of the Electronic Toll Collection System, in accordance with Article 34(5) of the PPL Act, provides for the possibility to apply the option right. The right of option is the possibility to order the provision of storage services for the needs of GITD at the written request of the Ordering Party. Storage services include the provision of temporary storage of on-board equipment (OBU), information and marketing materials in the warehouse of the courier company. The Ordering Party envisages using the right of option in case of lack of possibility to store the increased number of on-board equipment (OBU), information and marketing materials within its own storage space during the implementation of NKSPO. The service concerns the storage of the above mentioned on-board equipment and materials on the assumption that 30 m2 of space per month is used, i.e. 30 pallet places for a maximum period of 6 months. The right of option is the right of the Customer, which may or may not be used within the framework of the contract. If the Contracting Authority does not exercise the right of option, the Contractor shall not be entitled to any claim on this account. The condition for exercising the option right is submitting a written demand (declaration of intent) by the Ordering Party concerning the exercise of the option right within the scope specified by the Ordering Party: The Contractor shall provide services for a period of 36 months from 1.5.2020. In the period between the date of signing the contract and the date of commencing the provision of services, the Contractor shall make a full preparation for the provision of telecommunications and IT infrastructure and personal resources necessary for the provision of all services provided for in the contract. In the period from signing the contract to 1.5.2020, the Contractor is obliged to be ready to provide all the services described in OPZ, in accordance with the deadlines indicated therein. The Contractor shall be obliged to ensure full readiness and start providing services from 00:00 a.m. on 1.5.2020.
