Canada - Conversion of Saint-Mathieu church into a multi-purpose center. Second call for tenders

The Municipality of Saint-Mathieu (hereinafter referred to as the "Municipality") is seeking bids for work on a project to transform its church into a multi-purpose center. The Municipality is issuing a second call for tenders, as the results of the first call for tenders in 2023 turned out to be twice as high as the budget estimates.
When preparing their prices, bidders must bear in mind that, despite the cancellation of the first call for tenders, the municipality has issued various requests for quotations for the various stages of construction. In particular, excavation of the crawl space was carried out and the crawl space was backfilled with ¾-cut stone in order to guarantee the stability of the
building, with a clearance of 4 to 6 feet between the stone and the flashings.
In addition, to ensure the building's stability, piling work will be carried out before May 31, 2024. This work will be carried out from the inside, requiring the complete removal of the floor to allow direct access to the flashings.
In addition, it should be noted that the concrete ramp, as well as the metalwork and steel structure, will be carried out by other parties. As a result, the contractor only needs to coordinate this work with these construction stages on site.
