The DPWH-North Manila District Engineering Office, through its Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) invites contractors to submit bids for the following Contract: 1. Contract I.D. No. 18OE0278 Contract Name: Construction of Four (4) Storey Twelve (12) Classroom School Building at Florentino Torres High School (Based on 2017 Plan, Revised 3-24-17) Contract Location: Tondo, Manila City Brief : Complete Construction of School Building Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC): Php 69,848,262.98 Source of Fund: BEFF 2018 Contract Duration: 210 C.D. The BAC is conducting the public bidding for this Contract in accordance with RA 9184 and its Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR). To be eligible to bid for this Contract, a contractor must meet the following major requirements: (a) Filipino citizen or 75% Filipino-owned partnership/corporation with PCAB license for the following: Project Medium Range (b) Completion of a similar contract costing at least 50% of the ABC. (c) Net Financial Contracting Capacity (NFCC) at least equal to the ABC. The DPWH will use non-discretionary “pass/fail” criteria in the eligibility check, preliminary examination of bids, evaluation of bids, post-qualification, and award. Opening of Bids Dec. 14, 2018 12:00 noon NMDEO 2nd Floor Conference Room Bidders shall pay the BAC a non-refundable fee for Item No. 1 & 2 ₱50,000.00 ; For the Bidding Documents, upon securing hard copies of the Documents. Bidders that downloaded the Documents from the DPWH website shall pay the fee upon submission of their bids. All Bids must be accompanied by a bid security in any of the acceptable forms and in the amount stated in Instruction to Bidders. The Department of Public Works and Highways North Manila District Engineering Office reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and to annul the bidding process any time before the Contract award, without incurring any liability to the affected bidders.
