Description

Howoge Wohnungsbaugesellschaft mbH (hereinafter referred to as Howoge) has been entrusted by the State of Berlin with the construction of new secondary schools as part of the Berlin School Construction Offensive (BSO). The services to be awarded relate to general contractor services for the turnkey construction of school sites. Replacement new building for the "Heinrich-Hertz-Gymnasium" (02Y03), Müncheberger Strasse 8, 10243 Berlin-Friedrichshain. The school site consists of a 2-4-room high school and the associated outdoor school facilities.
The contract to be awarded includes general contractor services according to the so-called (school) construction team principle of Howoge. The basis for the assignment of the general contractor is a 2-stage partnering contract. In the first phase of the project, the commissioned general contractor accompanies the planning to be prepared by a general planning team of Howoge during the first project phase (LP 2-4). The aim of this first phase is to use the expertise of the general contractor to optimize the planning design in terms of costs, deadlines and quality within the framework set by Howoge. Provided that Howoge's targets are met during the partnering phase, the school construction team general contractor will start the turnkey realization of the building project in a second phase ("realization phase") on the basis of the building permit obtained by the general planning team. The services of the general contractor then include the work and assembly planning as well as all other planning, supplies and services required to construct the building project, including the outdoor facilities, on schedule, ready for occupancy, functional and free of defects.
