Description

In the course of the extension of the main road in Bielefeld-Brackwede, the planting of 107 trees is planned. The sites to be prepared for this, which are to be produced in accordance with the "Recommendations for Tree Planting" of the Forschungsgesellschaft Landschaftsentwicklung Landschaftsbau e. V. (FLL, edition 2015), are to be created before the start of the development as part of the preliminary work, so that later, in the course of the restoration of the surfaces, only the planting of the trees and the creation of the cover layers in the form of coverings or covers of the tree discs have to be carried out.The tendered execution steps therefore include the creation of the planting pits including tree pit ventilation and filling with suitable substrate. Furthermore, the services include the clearing of the existing trees as a preparatory measure. The construction site area is located within the road space of the main street in Bielefeld-Brackwede, in the section between house number 14 and house number 160.
Access to the construction site sections is via Hauptstraße. The heavily frequented Hauptstraße is predominantly an approx. 15-20 m wide road space, with track sections for the tram including overhead lines in each of the carriageways. Accessibility by larger vehicles is only possible to a limited extent due to the space available and the volume of traffic, or must be checked on site as part of the construction process. The light rail traffic is not to be restricted, a minimum width of the sidewalks is to be maintained. The space for construction site equipment must also be checked on site and agreed with the construction management. The conflict between the planned trees and the existing power lines is a special feature. In cooperation with the utilities, various search shafts were made in advance to determine the actual location of the numerous supply lines. On the basis of this, root protection measures were worked out. These are described in the specifications as well as in the technical details.
