Description

The state capital of Magdeburg intends to modernise and restore the hypar shell as a monument of GDR post-war modernism in accordance with the preservation order in order to reactivate and redesign the area monument Rotehornpark. The 1st construction phase includes the renovation of the roof shell construction with the associated supporting structure. The remaining renovation and the extension of the building will be carried out in the 2nd construction phase, which will follow shortly. The aim is the future use as a versatile event location in the city of Magdeburg.
