Demand for gas transport capacity in Baden-Württemberg is rising steadily. For this reason, terranets bw is planning the new natural gas transport pipeline "Süddeutsche Erdgasleitung" (SEL).SEL will start near Lampertheim and run via Heidelberg, Heilbronn, Ludwigsburg, Esslingen and Heidenheim for a total length of 250 km to Bis-singen in Bavaria. In Lampertheim, Heidelberg, Heilbronn and Löchgau, important network junctions will be built to the existing tnbw network. In the future, it will supply cities, communities, power plants and industries with natural gas and, probably from 2030, with hydrogen.The pipeline is to be built in several construction phases, according to which the delivery dates will be determined. This tender includes services for the second construction phase:SEL2: Löchgau - Esslingen (43km, DN 1000)The services for further construction phases will be the subject of future tenders. The pipeline is to be constructed "H2Ready", i.e. suitable for transporting up to 100% molecular hydrogen.The planning approval decisions from 2010 and 2015 are still valid and must be implemented. Individual planning amendment procedures are still pending and will be taken into account as far as possible in the invitation to tender.The applicant is free to obtain information on the planning approval resolutions as early as the phase of the bidding competition. The planning approval decisions will be made available to interested applicants for downloading on request. The consent of the land owners and managers under private law is also a condition for the start of work. The subject of the award is the construction work (civil engineering, pipe construction) for the construction of the pipeline.Further information on the subject of the contract will be provided to the applicants selected in the competitive bidding process with the invitation to submit bids.The following services will not be included in the contract for construction work:- Material testing- Construction of shut-off valve stations, pigging stations and connection lines to the existing terranets bw system- Construction of infrastructure connections- Archaeological construction supervision and excavations prior to construction- Ecological and pedological construction supervision- Construction supervision by the client- Construction supervision and acceptance by TÜV Süd experts- Line planting (woody plants)
o Creation of pipe storage areas and their access roadso Woody plant covero Construction work for laying the pipeline in the open pipe trench including pressure tests and recultivationo Construction work for the open crossing or culverting of watercourses II. Crossing of the Enz valley, including DirectPipe for crossing the Enz over a length of approx. 72 m, open or closed crossing of the federal highway 27 and micro-tunnel for crossing a railroad line. These works must be carried out in the summer/fall of 2024 due to species protection. In addition, the contractor can be granted the option of carrying out further sections within Lot 1 from the summer of 2024 onwards, provided that the client has been able to meet the legal requirements by then.o Construction work for the open or closed crossing of traffic routes using the drill-press method, microtunneling method or DirectPipe on lengths of 24 m to 80 mo Construction work on steep slopes, partly in areas with vineyard wallso Restoration of vineyard walls by a specially qualified, locally based specialist companybo Construction/installation of the following pipeline accessories: KKS system, earth electrode, KKS measuring points, cable conduit system for telecommunication line (mostly in pipe trenches)o Various services for the implementation of the landscape conservation plan (LBP)o Supply of material (except, among other things, pipeline pipe, work pipe) o Optional: Geometry pigging o Creation of pipe storage areas and their access roadso Wood cuttingo Construction work for laying the pipeline in the open pipe trench including pressure tests and recultivationo Construction work for open crossing or culverting of water bodies II. Ordnungo Construction of a culvert to cross the Neckar (federal waterway) with adjoining steep slope with vineyard walls. Due to species protection, this work must be carried out in the summer/fall of 2024.
