The CLZ is a comprehensive school with approximately 1,400 students located on Lindenlaan in Zeist. The main building is a monument and dates from 1920 and has subsequently undergone several non-monumental extensions at the rear. These extensions are due for a thorough renovation.During the renovation, bottlenecks will be tackled in order to increase the unity of the school building and to make it more sustainable and provide it with air conditioning.Divided over the basement and two floors, approximately 4,500 m2 GLA will be renovated and added during the first and second construction phase. In the third construction phase, ventilation will be installed in the monumental part of the building and it will be partially renovated. The GLA of the monumental part of the building is 5,100 m2. The renovation will literally and figuratively create air and space for all users. The layout of the school will become more spacious and the building section will be equipped with air treatment.
