The rbb is building a Digital Media House (DMH) at its site in Berlin on Masurenallee.For the successful implementation of all measures required in connection with the implementation of the project, extensive logistical tasks are to be carried out and coordinated by a service provider, in a relatively small construction site area.
The rbb is building a Digital Media House (DMH) at its site in Berlin on Masurenallee.In the construction area where the DMH is to be built, there are parts of buildings from the early 1970s. The rbb has set itself the goal of preserving existing building fabric as far as possible. For this reason, extensive remediation and demolition work will be carried out in advance on Building 1 (low-rise building) and Building 2B and 2C (Studios B and C). This will be directly followed by the new construction of the DMH and the removal of the studio bodies on the basement levels of Building 1, which will remain in place.For the successful implementation of all measures required in connection with the implementation of the project, a service provider will have to carry out and coordinate extensive logistical tasks, on a relatively small construction site footprint. These include the coordination of the disposal of hazardous and demolition materials as well as the delivery logistics of all components and building materials required for the new building and the coordination/control of all persons working on the construction site. In addition, the processes of rbb's internal logistics as well as the other interface construction projects (e.g., conversion of the refrigeration center, new hotel construction) must be taken into account in the DMH's processes.
