The campus of the Hochschule für Technik, Wirtschaft und Kultur Leipzig (HTWKL) is located in the south of Leipzig between Karl-Liebknecht and Richard-Lehmann-Straße. The construction task includes the redevelopment of the listed building complex Geutebrück-Bau of the HTWKL including the adjoining outdoor facilities. the ensemble consists of the 3 interconnected parts teaching building (along Karl-Liebknecht-Straße), seminar building (along Richard-Lehmann-Straße) and auditorium building in the courtyard. The seminar building was constructed as the first part of the building between 1910 and 1913 and was supplemented in 1961 and 1963 by the teaching building and the auditorium building. Between 1994 and 1997, the building was renovated and the previous structure, with seminar rooms, lecture theatres and offices on approx. 7,000.00 m2 of usable space for the Faculty of Civil Engineering and the university management, was essentially retained. In the lecture hall building, a new lecture hall will be installed in the basement after the soil mechanics laboratory has been relocated, and additional technical areas will be installed in the seminar building: Improvement of structural fire protection, energetic refurbishment of the building shell, network upgrading of power supply systems and telecommunications systems, implementation of safety concept, partial air conditioning of lecture hall buildings, improvement of acoustics of the Audimax, improvement of functionality, space optimisation, necessary structural and technical measures for the refurbishment of the building substance. In addition, the enclosure of the site will be reinforced. In addition, the existing media supply of the buildings on the property will be restructured and the construction project will be carried out in 2 phases. The 1st construction phase includes the teaching and lecture hall building - component A - within the period eligible as an EE ERDF measure. In the second construction phase, the seminar building -building component B- and the external facilities -building component C- will be realised.during the construction phase, the building complex will be freely steered.coordination services in accordance with § 3 of the BaustellV are to be awarded for the implementation of the construction project.initially, the services during the planning phase for the execution of the media connection and the first construction phase are to be commissioned.further commissioning is planned for further services described in the contract.
