Description

The Desenbergstraße viaduct is located in the Warburg railway station and serves as a flyover for lines 2550 and 2970 over the L552 in the town of Warburg. As part of the project, it is planned that the existing three northern steel superstructures including their abutments will be replaced by dismantling them and then building a new one at the same location using auxiliary bridges. A fourth reinforced concrete superstructure located to the south of the steel superstructures and the workshop and storage building located to the south-east next to the EU are to be dismantled as part of the construction measure. The retaining walls adjoining the abutments will also be renewed in the course of the measure.Production and installation of 3 adjacent steel superstructures, span width approx. 12.50 m each, total width of the railway overpass approx. 19.21 m, steel weight approx. 200 tons. Manufacture of reinforced concrete bridge abutments under half-way road closure, clear height in the area of the road approx. ≥ 4.55 m, reinforced concrete approx. 700 m3. Production of auxiliary bridge foundations, installation of 3 auxiliary bridges and associated superstructure work, excavation shoring partially tied back approx. 400 m2. Demolition, dismantling and disposal services.
