Description
The government wants to promote tourism to Tobago, by increasing the capacity at its international airport.
The project will include the development of a new terminal building and airport infrastructure.
It wants preparatory work including engineering studies and the design, construction and commissioning of:
- a new terminal building for domestic and international passenger operation (package 1)
- associated infrastructure, including apron, taxiway, aircraft parking and perimeter fencing of the airport (package 2)
- associated landside infrastructure, including car park and accesses (package 3)
- fitting the new terminal, including procurement and buying and installation of terminal building equipment (package 4)
Packages 2 and 3 will be contracted to local contractors.
The cost of the project is being financed by government of Trinidad and Tobago. It will be based on the conditions of contract for EPC/Turnkey Projects (FIDIC ‘Yellow Book’, 1st Edition 1999).
The closing date for pre-qualification is 1 July 2019.
