The COMMISSION SCOLAIRE du Pays-des-Bleuets wishes to obtain bids in sealed envelopes to retain the services of an ENTREPRENEUR for work on the construction of a gymnasium and the interior redevelopment of the Carrefour Étudiant de Saint-Félicien school, Saint-Méthode sector.
1. Tender documents
Bidding documents can only be obtained through the Government of Quebec's Electronic Tendering System, SEAO (www.seao.ca), or for the Montréal area at 514 856-6600 or toll-free outside at 1 866 669-7326.
2. Guarantee
All bids must be accompanied by a bid security representing 10% of the total amount of the bid excluding all applicable taxes, in the form of a certified cheque, irrevocable letter of guarantee or bid bond issued by a financial institution that is an insurer holding a licence issued in accordance with the Insurance Act (R.S.Q.), c. A-32) authorizing it to carry on surety insurance, a trust company holding a licence issued under the Act respecting trust companies and savings companies (R.S.Q., c. S-29.01), a financial services cooperative governed by the Act respecting financial services cooperatives (R.S.Q., c. C-67.3) or a bank within the meaning of the Bank Act (S.C., 1991, c. 46), failing which the tender will be automatically rejected.
3. Reception and opening
All bids must be received at the Financial and Material Resources Department of the Commission SCOLAIRE du Pays-des-Bleuets located at 1950 Sacré-Cœur Boulevard, Dolbeau-Mistassini, Quebec, G8L 2R3, on the top floor, room 263, on Friday, June 28 at 10:00 a.m., to be publicly opened in room 233, on the same day at the same time. Any subsequent submission received will be automatically rejected.
4. Intergovernmental agreement
This public call for tenders is subject to the Quebec and Ontario Agreement on the Liberalization of Government Procurement (AQO) and the Quebec and New Brunswick Agreement on the Liberalization of Government Procurement (AQNB).
5. Site visit
A site visit for bidders is scheduled for Friday, June 14, 2019 at 8:30 a.m. at Carrefour Étudiant School, located at 3079 rue de Saint-Méthode in Saint-Félicien, Saint-Méthode sector.
6. Other Other
Only ENTREPRENEURS holding, where applicable, the licence required under the Building Act (R.S.Q., c. B-1.1) will be considered for the purpose of granting the contract. Bidding ENTREPRENEURS are responsible for the choice of subcontractors, both for their solvency and for the content of their bid. Bidders must comply with the clauses and language requirements of the COMMISSION SCOLAIRE du Pays-des-Bleuets.
