Benguet First District Engineering Office La Trinidad, Benguet November 26, 2018 INVITATION TO BID The Benguet First District Engineering Office, through its Bids and Awards Committee (BAC), invites contractors to submit bids for the following Contract: Contract ID: 19PE0010 Contract Name: Construction/Improvement of Access Roads leading to Declared Tourism Destinations: Reconstruction To Concrete Pavement Specific Location along Ballay-Tabio-Tonoman-Bulalacao-Tawangan- Lusod Road Leading to Bulalacao Lakes and Mt. Tabeo Contract Location: Kabayan, Benguet Brief : Construction/Improvement of Access Roads leading to Declared Tourism Destinations: Reconstruction To Concrete Pavement Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC): Php 9,791,202.00 Source of Funds: GAA 2019 Contract Duration: 90 calendar days The BAC is conducting the public bidding for this Contract in accordance with Republic Act No. 9184 and its Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR). To be eligible to bid for this Contract, a contractor must meet the following major requirements: a) Filipino citizen or 75% Filipino-owned partnership/corporation with PCAB license for Size Range Small B. b) Completion of a similar contract costing at least 50% of the ABC. and c) Net Financial Contracting Capacity (NFCC) at least equal to the ABC. The DPWH will use non-discretionary “pass/fail” criteria in the eligibility check, preliminary examination of bids, evaluation of bids, post-qualification, and award.
