This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
Solicitation number FA8224-19-R-7338 is issued as a request for proposal (RFP) and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-94 and its supplements.
This is a 100% Small-Business Set-Aside announcement filed under NAICS code 332439 with small business size standard of 500 employees and Federal Supply Code 8150. The requirement calls for the contractor to provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment and labor necessary to deliver 10 storage containers (also called Connex Containers) meeting the specifications in the attached purchase specifications, at the minimum:
• 40 foot standard containers suitable for roughly 2,400 cubic feet of storage
• Steel construction equipped with wood floors, cam rods, and swinging and locking doors
• New or used, weather proof, water tight, and rust free
• Qty 9 with double doors
• Qty 1 with a single door
Any exceptions to purchase specification dated May 22, 2019 must be identified in quote. By submitting a quote, the contractor agrees to all stipulations in the purchase specification unless specified as an exception in the quote.
Selection of awardee will include comparative analysis IAW FAR 13.106-2, Evaluation of Quotations and Offers, giving value to price, meeting specifications in purchase specification, and delivery of containers within specified timeframe.
