Renewal of the communication system
The client is AGAPLESION FRANKFURTER DIAKONIE KLINIKEN gGmbH. It is part of the AGAPLESION gAG healthcare group, which unites a large number of medical facilities throughout Germany under its umbrella and operates them via subsidiaries. The background to this procurement project is the renewal of the communications system at Markus Hospital and Bethanien Hospital in Frankfurt am Main. The procurement of a new IP-TK system requires an expansion of the LAN/WAN environment. The aim is to convert the entire telecommunications structure (telephony) to the new IP technology. In the present case, the customer intends to procure switches with the aim of integrating them into the existing network. Due to the already existing network infrastructure, into which the devices to be procured will fit, and for security reasons, a product-specific invitation to tender will be issued, as can be seen from the list of specifications (Annex 02 - Specifications and price sheet). Deviating makes or manufacturers will not be accepted. In addition, it is mandatory that bids are submitted exclusively by certified Cisco dealers with sales authorization for Germany. For this purpose, a corresponding self-declaration must be made under Section V. on Form 01 - Form Qualification Information. In the absence of such a distribution permit, the bidder will be excluded from the procedure. Only new equipment may be offered: Bids with (general) overhauled equipment or old equipment renewed in similar procedures will be excluded.The contracting authority reserves the right to make further inquiries and request corresponding information if there is any doubt about the suitability of the bidders according to the characteristics outlined above. Bidders who do not meet the suitability requirements will be excluded from the award procedure.
