Description

The activities of Lot 1 include the supply of notebooks, desktops, and peripherals for TU/e employees. In principle, these are pieces of computer hardware orders for employees, and grab stock. For this purpose a webshop in iProcurement needs to be made available and maintained. Furthermore, in Lot 1, all maintenance and service stands out for both the Computer Hardware ordered under Lot 1 and for the Student Notebooks ordered under Lot 2, including the installed base. In order to promote the expected services, at least one of the Contractor's employees must be available at the Client's location. Advice during the annual selection process for the Student Laptop and the logistical process of the annual delivery of the Laptop to the student are also part of the activities of the Contractor in Lot 1. The steps 5 and 6 described herein concern the logistical process to be carried out by the Contractor. During the selection process (steps 1 and 2 described above), the Contractor will be asked to play an advisory role in terms of content. The selection process itself (the Mini-competition) is carried out by the Client, with the TU/e having the following objectives: Efficient and effective service and maintenance of the entire installed base (Workplaces and Student Notebooks) in a way that supports excellent research and education; a transparent, efficient and customer-friendly ordering and delivery process of workplaces, peripherals and accessories from a standard range as well as flexibly adapted to users' needs; competitive and transparent prices for the delivery of the different types of hardware as well as for the service.A supplier who has the expertise and experience to think about product content questions, product composition and optimization of the file at workstations and also informs in a broad sense about trends in the market and how these can be applied within the TU/e; Professional advice during the annual selection process of the Student notebook and successful execution of the logistics process of the annual notebook delivery. for Lot 1 1 1 1 agreement with one supplier is concluded for a period of 4 years with an option for extension of 2x 2 years. The expected commencement date of the Agreement is 1.1.2020. The award shall be made on the basis of the award criterion Best value for money. In order to provide the students with the latest features, the notebook that best meets the requirements and wishes of the moment is selected annually. To this end, an annual mini-competition is held under the Framework Contractors (see also the Notebook Scheme appendix, steps 1 to 3). The Framework Contractors will receive a Further Request for Proposals for this purpose. The Framework Contractors are expected to take part in the annual minicompetition and to be able to deliver the expected large quantities of Student Notebooks. Order and payment is made by the Client. The logistics process (imaging and delivery including accessories to the student) is carried out by the Provider in Lot 1, which is why the notebooks will also have to be delivered to this Provider. In addition, these Student Notebooks are also ordered for delivery to premaster, master and other senior students and perhaps also for a number of employees. The objective of TU/e is to have the highest possible participation rate for Student Notebooks. We want at least 85% of the first year bachelor students to buy the notebook we have selected. To achieve this, the Framework Contractor must annually offer an (A-Label) state-of-the-art notebook at an attractive price. By a state-of-the-art notebook is meant: a notebook that has the latest techniques and possibilities at that moment, suitable for daily intensive use by students of the TU/e, whereby a life span that covers the entire study period (approx. 5 years) must be guaranteed at the TU/e. In addition, the Framework Contractor must be able to follow the tight planning and deliver the new models on time. for Lot 2, a maximum of four framework agreements with four suppliers are concluded for a period of 2 years, with an option for extension of 2x 2 years. The expected commencement date of the Framework Agreement is 1.1.2020. These Framework Contractors participate annually in the selection process (the minicompetition) in which the Student Notebook is selected for the relevant year.
