This tender concerns the tender to reach an agreement for the European tender Professional Hardware for the municipality of De Fryske Marren.
1.2.2.GreenCurrent situationThe agreement with the current supplier expires. By this route the municipality is putting the contract back on the market.New situationThe municipality has its own and self-functioning ICT department and wishes to contract one (1) tenderer for the supply of professional hardware that is brand-independent. This is of essential importance to the municipality because the exact composition of professional hardware is not fixed and depends on other hardware and is subject to (strategic) developments. By contracting the tenderers, the municipality aims to achieve the following overall objectives:- Efficient estimation and spending of procurement budgets and budgets;- Ensuring the conformity of professional hardware;- Low management burden.Scope of tenderWe ask the tenderers to be able to offer professional hardware within the following product groups:- Servers;- Backup storage;- Network equipment (core router, user switches);- Storage Area Network*;- Other.
