The subject of this tender of the Gemeinschaftsklinikum Mittelrhein gGmbH is the planning, delivery and commissioning of two identical ITC-RZ container systems, the realization of a new campus cabling for the network connection of the IT locations as well as preparatory construction measures for the preparation of the planned locations for the installation of the ITC-RZ container systems. The implementation of the required measures and services must be carried out in accordance with the state of the art as well as taking into account the current security standards as an operator of critical infrastructures.
The subject of this invitation to tender of Gemeinschaftsklinikum Mittelrhein gGmbH is the planning, delivery and commissioning of two identical ITC-RZ container systems, the implementation of a new campus cabling system for the network connection of the IT locations as well as preparatory construction measures for the preparation of the planned locations for the installation of the ITC-RZ container systems. The implementation of the necessary measures and services must be carried out in accordance with the state of the art and in consideration of the current security standards as an operator of critical infrastructures. The Gemeinschaftsklinikum Mittelrhein GmbH intends to set up two new outdoor data centers and to connect both data centers with new fiber optic cabling, as well as to connect them to the existing fiber optic infrastructure on the premises. The connection of the containers to each other will be redundant via a fiber optic cable ring consisting of multi-mode and single-mode cables. Each of the two containers is also connected to the main server room EDV 00219 in building 1 with a multimode cable. Container 1 is additionally connected to the main server room 00219 with a single-mode cable, in order to be able to switch the Internet connection purely passively further into container 1. Container 2 is connected to the redundant WAN connection via directional radio with a further multimode cable. On the fiber optic ring between the data centers, a 40G Ethernet ring is operated via QSFP's (OM4, 850 - 940 nm). The connection from data center container to data center container must therefore never be longer than max. 250m (one way). The cable routing on the site is fully redundant (node and edge disjoint) and the WAN connections terminate independently in one of the two data center containers. Both IT locations, including the technical infrastructure systems, are to be elevated on foundations in order to protect the IT equipment and the technical system components in the event of flooding due to precipitation. The construction is to be carried out including the associated preparatory work, such as earthworks with soil excavation, grounding system, etc. Both free-standing data center solutions are to be fenced off in the area of the NEA and the external air-conditioning units and protected against unauthorized access. The fenced-in area is to be professionally paved and aligned with the existing area. Appropriate protection against access to the data center is to be provided. In the course of this, the preparation of the building application and plans is also to be carried out, as is the preparation of the necessary building application documents for the submission of the building application.
