The Centre de services scolaires du Fleuve-et-des-Lacs would like to obtain quotations in a sealed envelope to retain the services of a contractor to proceed with pool repair work at the Dégelis High School, located at 385 Principale Avenue, in Dégelis, Province of Quebec.

Available documentation :

As of November 20, 2020 , tender documents will be available to any person or company only through the OACS electronic tendering system ( www.seao.ca or 1-866-669-7326).

BID SECURITY :

All tenders must be accompanied by a tender security representing ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the tender excluding all applicable taxes, in the form of a certified cheque, an irrevocable letter of guarantee or a tender bond issued by a financial institution which is an insurer holding a permit issued in accordance with the Insurance Act (R.S.Q.), c. A-32) authorizing it to practice surety insurance, a trust company holding a permit issued under the Act respecting trust companies and savings companies (R.S.Q., c. S-29.01), a financial services cooperative covered by the Act respecting financial services cooperatives (R.S.Q., c. C-67.3) or a bank within the meaning of the Bank Act (S.C., 1991, c. 46), failing which the tender will be automatically rejected.

COMPULSORY SITE VISIT :

Contractors and sub-contractors interested in visiting the site must present themselves at the main entrance of the Dégelis High School in Dégelis on December 1, 2020 starting at 9:00 a.m. . Visits will only be permitted on that day. In order to be able to attend the site visit, bidders must first make an appointment with the Client's representative. Due to the health measures in force, visits will have to be made on an individual basis. A mandatory information session by videoconference (ZOOM or TEAMS) will be scheduled on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at 11:00 am. Reception and opening :

All submissions must be received at the main place of business of the Centre de services scolaires du Fleuve-et-des-Lacs or electronically on the SEAO platform on December 15, 2020 before 11:00 a.m., to be opened publicly at the same place, on the same day and at the same time. Any submission received after this date will be automatically rejected.

Intergovernmental Agreement :

This public call for tenders is subject to the following intergovernmental agreements: Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA), Agreement on Liberalization of Government Procurement in Quebec and New Brunswick (AQNB) and the Quebec-Ontario Agreement on Trade and Cooperation (QOAQC).

Other requirement :

Only contractors holding, where applicable, the required licence under the Building Act (R.S.Q., c. B-1.1) will be considered for the purposes of awarding the contract. Tendering contractors are responsible for the choice of subcontractors, both for their solvency and for the content of their tender.

The School Service Centre does not undertake to accept any of the bids received.
