Anticipated closing date 21 January 2020 - 4 pm EST

The Government has a requirement for various machined products including, but not limited to, milling operations, lathe operations, grinding operations, surface preparation/surface finishing, welding, weld inspection, and material inspection/certification to support various programs.

The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate competitively with the statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(b)(2) as implemented by FAR 6.302-2, 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The Government intends to award multiple Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ), Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contracts and then compete individual delivery orders among awardees in accordance with FAR 16.505(b). It is anticipated that resultant contracts will include five-year ordering periods, plus five, one-year optional ordering periods. Performance will include the following four capabilities:

1) able to handle items that weigh 100,000 lbs
2) handle items that are 40' long
3) perform lathe operations on items up to 96" in diameter
4) handle milling operations on items that are 96" by 96"

However, there may also be smaller and general machined items required under the resultant contracts.

Delivery and inspection terms will be specified within individual delivery order requirements. First Articles may be required.
