GI-SP19-018
The purpose of the Société d'habitation et de développement de Montréal (the Société) is to contribute to the economic and social development of Ville de Montréal by developing residential, institutional, industrial, commercial and cultural real estate assets on its territory. The Société is a non-profit, paramunicipal organization that is financially self-sufficient and an agent of the City of Montréal.
The Corporation requests bids which must be received by 10:30 a.m. on the date indicated below, at the Corporation's office located at 800 De Maisonneuve Boulevard East, Suite 2200, Montréal, Québec, H2L 4L8.
CATEGORY: GENERAL SERVICES - COMMUNITY RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY MANAGEMENT
DESCRIPTION: This call for tenders is for the selection of a company to manage a residential rental housing stock, under agreements with various community organizations at the following addresses: 6869-6899 Papineau Street, 5000-5010 Ontario Street East and 4290 Hochelaga Street.

OPENING DATE: March 8, 2019 at 10:30 a.m.

INSURANCE: No security deposit is required. The bid must be accompanied by a certificate of liability insurance or a letter of intent to insure for a minimum amount of $2,000,000 and a certificate of insurance for misappropriation, disappearance and destruction or a letter of intent to insure for a minimum amount of $1,000,000.

SITE VISIT: In accordance with the Company's contract management policy, no guided site visits with all consolidated bidders are planned. However, individual visits are strongly recommended, by appointment only. You must make an appointment by contacting approvisionnement@shdm.org by email.
The SHDM will evaluate the bid documents using a one-envelope, one-envelope weighting and evaluation system, based, in addition to the price, on the quality of the bid submission, the understanding of the mandate and issues, the expertise of the bidder and any other criteria described in this call for tenders. To be validly received, the bid documents must be placed in a clearly identified sealed envelope bearing the description and number of the bid.
The tender documents will be available in French only. Bidders must have, at the time of filing the bid, a business establishment in Québec or in a territory covered by an intergovernmental agreement on the liberalization of markets applicable to this call for tenders and a certificate issued by Revenu Québec.
The bid documents received will be publicly opened, at the Company's office, and will then be analyzed and evaluated by a selection committee on the basis of the evaluation system appearing in the bid documents.
The contract will be awarded to the bidder with the highest score. However, the Company is not required to respond to this call for tenders and undertakes to accept neither the best nor any of the tenders received and assumes no obligation of any kind whatsoever towards the bidder or bidders.
