The Commission scolaire de l'Énergie, owner, is requesting bids for the roof repairs for the building mentioned in the title.

Plans, specifications, contractual documents and other documents will be available for consultation through the electronic tendering service (SEAO) by contacting one of the representatives by telephone at 1 866 669-7326 or 514 856-6600 or by visiting the website: www.seao.ca . Documents can be obtained at a cost determined by the SEAO.

Submissions, in sealed envelopes addressed to Mr. Vincent Couture, will be received at the Commission scolaire de l'Énergie, bureau 207, until 2:00 p.m., local time, on the 20th day of September 2019, to be opened publicly at the same location, on the same day and at the same time.

Bids must be accompanied by a certified cheque for ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid made payable to the Owner, the Commission scolaire de l'Énergie, or a bid bond in the same amount valid for a period of 45 days from the bid opening date. This bid security must be exchanged upon signature of the contract for a performance bond and a bond guarantee for pledges, materials and services as mentioned in the general conditions of the tender documents.

Only bids from contractors with an establishment in Quebec or, where an intergovernmental agreement is applicable, in Quebec or in a province or territory covered by the agreement and holding, where applicable, the licence required under the Building Act (R.S.Q., c. B.-1.1) will be considered for contract award.

Tendering contractors are responsible for the selection of subcontractors, both for their solvency and for the content of their bid. All tenders must be made in accordance with the provisions of the Regulation respecting construction contracts for school board buildings adopted under the Education Act (R.S.Q., c. I-13-3, r.0.01).

The owner does not undertake to accept the lowest or any other bid received and declines any obligation or liability to the bidders.
