Description

The boats should have:

- a service life of at least 15 years
- a contract speed of at least 35 knots
- an aluminium alloy hull structure, main deck and superstructure
- 2 external fire pumps, each having at least 8,000 litres per minute

The main duties and functions are to provide:

- sea rescue operations for aircraft related incidents
- a command post for co-ordinating sea rescue operations
- an independent firefighting unit
- a mini-medical treatment centre
- a platform for helicopter winching operations
- a diving platform for underwater search and rescue
- accommodation for holding survivors and casualties in a major aircraft accident

You must provide 5 copies of the design and construction specifications of the vessel, including drawings.
