SUMMARY PROJECT DESCRIPTION In order to bring the endoscopy department at Anna-Laberge Hospital up to standard, an extension will be required. 3. MAIN PROJECT CONSTRAINTS The project is subject to various constraints, including but not limited to the following: Property boundaries Municipal by-laws (including stormwater management) Completion deadlines Completion costs Modified access and traffic 4. SCOPE OF WORK The mandate includes, but is not limited to: Participation in meetings with various stakeholders to identify needs; Supporting the client in the steps required of the municipality; The meetings, documents and presentation(s) required for approval of the project by the city at the Conseil Consultatif d'Urbanisme (CCU); Support of the client in the required steps with the MSSS; Preparation of the required documents and presentation(s) to the MSSS; Preparation of a projected schedule and its revision during the course of the project; General coordination of the project with the various stakeholders and professionals involved; Site survey; Survey of existing infrastructures and modifications required; Pre-purchase plans and specifications, if required; Plans and specifications for each stage of the project; As-built plans; Preliminary cost estimate for the work; Cost estimate for the work; Preparation and presentation of tender documents and specifications; Site visits with bidders; Issuance of addenda, analysis of bids and appropriate recommendations; Preparation of details not provided for in the plans and specifications and required for construction purposes; Preparation of notices of change and their negotiation; Technical advice to the owner, with or without a site visit; Verification of shop drawings; Verification of material equivalencies; Periodic site visits to ensure completion of the work; Recommendations to the owner on the progressive progress of the work; Drafting of minutes of site meetings; Verification of payment requests; Issuance of certificates recommending progressive and final payments; Final inspection and list of deficiencies observed; Written recommendation to the owner to issue notices of provisional and final acceptance of the work; It is important to specify that these descriptive lists of the scope of work are non-exhaustive. The selected firm must be able to provide the necessary manpower to carry out the contract, and must possess the necessary technical, administrative and planning skills.
