United States - City of Appleton Valley Transit Joint Development Request for Expressions of Interest and Qualifications

Description

The City of Appleton, acting through the Department of Valley Transit, (hereafter the “City”)  seeks to collaborate with a private developer to construct a transit center and multi-family housing development (the “Joint Development”) in the heart of downtown Appleton.  This Request for Expressions of Interest and Qualifications is designed to identify interested and qualified developers who wish to proceed to a more in-depth Request for Proposal phase of the selection process the City will use to select a developer for the Joint Development.  The Joint Development will include a ground-level transit facility with 14 bus bays.  The chosen developer would develop the floors above the transit facility for multi-family housing.  City zoning ordinances allows the structure to reach a height of 200 feet.  The project will be located at the site of the existing Valley Transit hub located at 100 E. Washington Street.
