China - China – Homeware products sought by a well-known retail chain

First established in Hong Kong in the 1840s, this retail chain has grown to be a well-known retail brand with businesses in over 11 countries. In mainland China, it has over 2,200 stores selling both domestic and overseas brands, as well as products under its own brand. It has over 45 million members, mostly customers from the younger generations.

For this target customer group, it is now preparing to launch a new fashion shopping programme, under which it plans to install terminals in its stores to present more products. This virtual exhibition is supposed to show customers new and creative products which can be ordered directly at the terminals or in stores.

For this programme, the company is now looking for several categories of products. Specifically, this opportunity is for companies that can supply homeware and home accessory products. The retail chain would prefer a variety of high quality items, for example bedding and decorative goods to be offered, that have all been made in the UK. It prefers products that will appeal to the younger generations in China. The company would like to distribute the products via its stores in China.
