The Municipality of Sainte-Catherine-de-Hatley invites tenders for the work described above. Tenders must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked "Chemins Forand, Brown's Hill and rue de la Rivière - Travaux de voirie et de pavage", and the tenderer must be clearly identified on the envelope.
Plans and specifications, as well as the bid form, can only be obtained from the electronic tendering system (SÉAO) at www.seao.ca.
To be considered, all bids must be accompanied by a bid security as described in article IV-1.1 of the "Notice to Tenderers" of BNQ standard 1809-900/2019. The bid, the accompanying security and all other documents to be provided will be deemed valid for a period of 60 days. The bidder must take this obligation into account when having the documents in question completed by others.
Only bonds issued by companies licensed as insurers in Canada will be accepted under the terms of the tender document.
Only bids submitted by contractors who have ordered tender documents under the same name as the one under which they are bidding will be considered. In the case of a consortium, this requirement is deemed to have been met when each of the parties has obtained the said documents.
For the purposes of awarding the contract, only bids from contractors with an establishment in Quebec or, where an intergovernmental market liberalization agreement is applicable, in a province or territory covered by that agreement, will be considered. Contractors must hold the license required under the Building Act (R.S.Q. c.B.-1.1).
The deadline for receipt of complaints is 11 a.m., March 25, 2024. The person designated to receive complaints is Mr. Marc Marin, Director General and Clerk-Treasurer of the Municipality.
Tenders must be received at the municipal office by Mr. Marc Marin, Director General and Clerk-Treasurer, at the above address, on or before April 4, 2024, at 11 a.m., to be publicly opened at the same time and place.
The Municipality of Sainte-Catherine-de-Hatley does not undertake to accept the lowest or any of the bids submitted.
