Statement of Work:

Protective Technical Services Section (PTSS) falls under the command of Federal Policing Support Services (FPSS) and is technically responsive to the Protective Technical Service Branch (PTSB). An operational support unit, PTSS enables both Federal and CORE policing services throughout "K" Division and in some instances neighboring Divisions or in support of National priorities. It is primarily responsible to manage "K" Division's overt electronic and mechanical security programs, which assist the RCMP in mitigating threats against VIPs, IPPs, RCMP employees, RCMP property and RCMP assets.

Within the electronics line of effort, PTSS is responsible to maintain and evolve Closed Circuit Video Equipment (CCVE) for cell blocks, interview rooms and building safety. To provide proactive and responsive services PTSS leverages industry expertise within this line of effort.

PTSS has a requirement for the provision and maintenance of its CCVE. This includes the monitoring, preventative and corrective maintenance, support and as and when required work requirements for one-hundred and fifteen (115) locations across Alberta as identified in Section A. The number of locations will fluctuate over the course of the contract.

The Contractor (Service Provider) must provide maintenance and support for PTSS CCVE as well as licensing and software maintenance of said equipment.

The Contract is for a period of one year with two additional one year option period.

The requirement is limited to Canadian services.

The Federal Contractors Program (FCP) for employment equity applies to this procurement; re-fer to Part 5 - Certifications and Additional Information, Part 7 - Resulting Contract Claus-es and the annex titled Federal Contractors Program for Employment Equity - Certification.

This bid solicitation allows bidders to use the epost Connect service provided by Canada Post Corporation to transmit their bid electronically. Bidders must refer to Part 2 entitled Bidder In-structions, and Part 3 entitled Bid Preparation Instructions, of the bid solicitation, for further in-formation.

Transmission of bids by facsimile or hardcopy to PWGSC will not be accepted.

Bidders shall submit their electronic (Excel) copy of their financial offer with their Epost Connect offer.
